Voor het gros van de mensen is het wellicht niet meer dan een gezicht dat ze wel eens gezien hebben tijdens de E3 of bij de presentatie van nieuwe hardware, maar voor Sony Interactive Entertainment is het de CEO. Tsuyoshi ‘John’ Kodera is zijn opvolger en House blijft tot aan het einde van het jaar actief om de overgang soepel te laten verlopen. Andrew gaat dus niet met ruzie weg, maar is op zoek naar een nieuwe uitdaging. Inmiddels werkt hij al 27 jaar bij Sony en heeft nog meer gewerkt als PR-poppetje aan de lancering van de PlayStation 1. I’m tremendously proud of what we’ve built with PlayStation and Sony Interactive Entertainment: entertaining millions globally with the best in games and creating a fully fledged digital entertainment company. PlayStation has been a huge part of my life for more than 20 years but with the business having achieved record-breaking success, now seemed to be the right time for me to pursue new challenges.
