Binnen een paar weken komt Killer Instinct uit op Steam. De fighter is er al voor Windows 10 maar dan via de Windows Store en dat is voor veel gamers alles behalve een aantrekkelijke plek om te winkelen. Microsoft lijkt dat ook in te zien en brengt KI nu ook naar Steam. Een echte releasedatum is er nog niet, maar men spreekt zelf over “in the coming weeks.” Het mooie is dat Killer Instinct dan niet alleen tegen gamers van Steam of de Windows Store, maar ook die op de Xbox One, S of straks X. Het gebeurd steeds vaker dat Microsoft dit soort acties toestaat en zelfs promoot. Wellicht kunnen we over een jaar of drie, ongeacht welk platform, allemaal Call of Duty tegen elkaar spelen. Gekkigheid!
