Als u een klein beetje heeft opgelet wist u dat dit moment op handen was. StarCraft krijgt aanstaande zomer een remaster van Blizzard en omdat men graag wil dat bestaande StarCraft-spelers ook tegen de remastertjes kunnen spelen, is er een patch nodig voor het oude beestje. Die is er inmiddels. Patch 1.18 voegt een buslading aan verbeteringen door die dit straks mogelijk maken. Wat er allemaal is aangepast leest u hieronder. Maar wat patch 1.18 ook met zich meebrengt is het dat StarCraft nu gratis is. Het enige dat u hoeft te doen is te klikken op dit linkje, naar beneden scrollen en de game te downloaden. Dat is alles. Simpeler had Blizzard het niet kunnen maken. De hoop is natuurlijk dat u zo enthousiast bent/wordt/blijft dat u in de zomer de remaster koopt.
