Als u inmiddels Persona 5 in huis heeft en dacht deze game even lekker te streamen naar Twitch of YouTube dan heeft u het al gemerkt; dat kan niet. Atlus heeft de totale functie om de game te streamen uitgeschakeld. Men wil niet dat er ook maar enige vorm van spoilers online komt en zo kwam Atlus tot dit besluit. Maar, dat wil niet zeggen dat de game niet te streamen is. Want via HDMI naar een extern device is het prima mogelijk om Persona 5 te streamen. En dat doen mensen dus ook. Terecht. Maar Atlus wil het niet en stampt als een Turkse Dictator met de voet op de grond en waarschuwt nu dat men streamers wil laten schorsen als ze het toch doen.

In Persona 5 werkt het verhaal met dagen en maanden. En ergens schijnt een kantelpunt te zitten. Namelijk op 7 juli. Niet in real life, maar in de game. Mocht u de game streamen voorbij 7/7 dan komt de Atlus Politie achter u aan. Dit slaat werkelijk nergens op! Als consument heeft u niets ondertekend, u verbreekt geen wetten of licenties, er wordt niets aangepast aan de software en u omzeilt niet iets dat illegaal is. Toch dient u zich, volgens Atlus, te houden aan de onderstaande regels, anders komen ze u omleggen. Van de pot gerukt.

No major story spoilers, left up to your good judgment. If you need some guidelines, avoid showing/spoiling the ending segments of the first three palaces. While you can show initial interactions with Yusuke, avoid his awakening scene, and that whole deal about THE painting. Also, don’t post anything about a certain student investigator.
We mentioned not showing the end of each palace, but you can grab footage from the Kamoshida boss fight. However, don’t capture video from the other major boss fights.
Must not focus solely on cutscenes/animated scenes, should prominently feature dungeon crawling/spending time in Tokyo.
